Have fun! 6d5b4406ea Title: House FlipperGenre: Indie, SimulationDeveloper:EmpyreanPublisher:Frozen District, PlayWay S.A.Franchise:House FlipperRelease Date: 17 May, 2018 House Flipper Activation Code Paid DLC out for a game that feels unfinished. Avoid this.. Getting right to the point: The game is tons of fun for people who like to see things get cleaned and fixed! However, the game has the glaring issue of feeling unfinished. Even for it's price. Garden Flipper DLC should have been included in the base game, though I understand why it wasn't.Overall, would recommend!. It's an addicting and fun game so far. BUT, and that's a huge but, there are alot of bugs. Most of them are easily being fixed by simply restarting the mission. But what really annoys me is the Bunker-DLC-issue which is a common known bug. You start a mission where you have to work on a bunker and you simply can't enter it. It just says "Press S or W to go up or down the ladder" (or something similar to that). Problem is, you simply can't get to the ladder since the bunker is closed and there is no button to open it. Can't recommend the game as of for now, but will change my review once the developers manage to fix the bugs instead of publishing new DLC's.... The base game is not finished despite leaving early access. They are adding the content that should be in the base game through DLC, then charging for it. The base game is $20 and the DLC that lets you cut the grass ( a basic feature that should have been included in the base game) costs $15.I tried the game as something I could get into and relax. And you can have a good time with it for a while. I just got really bored with it as there is no challenge and its literally doing the same chores like cleaning the floors, painting the walls and decorating over and over. I dont mind repetition, but not to this extent. I have played for 10 hours and have spent that time doing boring remedial tasks like picking up trash and moping the floors for 7 of those hours. Maybe they should add a DLC that lets me hire someone to clean the house for me. There are "upgrades" you can earn in game that make these tasks quicker, but the houses just get bigger the more you progress so it takes almost the same time. The graphics are ok, noting nice to look at and nothing glaringly bad.The music is completely forgettable. Again nothing bad, but nothing great either.Overall its a meh game that you can relax while playing. Its just way to repetitive and the DLC required to mow the yard is a cash grab tactic.. I can't in good conscience recommend this game, as much as I've enjoyed the time I've spent with it. Put simply, as other people have noted, it feels unfinished. When I first bought the game, before the garden DLC was announced, it was with the understanding that the game would be added to and improved. Apart from a few items added, little has been actually done to improve the game itself and some actions feel janky, while some areas feel empty. I've come across numerous little bugs and glitches that scream "unpolished". There is still no way to change the external shape/size of a building, no way to add windows, nor build a new building from scratch, and there are very limited missions. The most egregious issue, I think, is obvious. They've let out an extremely expensive (as in, nearly the same price as the main game) DLC for gardening, something that should have been added in the original, and almost certainly was planned for the original, until the devs saw dollar signs, given the absolutely awful state of the gardens in the base game.If you don't shell out the price of the game again for the garden DLC, your yard looks unkempt and awful, something many players previously saw as a promise of the option to fix it being put in the game later on, but now see as a ransom on the aesthetics of your home. "Buy the DLC or it stays hideous".Pick up the game if on special and you want something mindless to do while listening to podcasts, otherwise, don't bother giving them your money.. House flipper was my favorite game until recently. Now they give so few craps about fixing up the game breaking glitches that its not even playable anymore. Literally, I cant play it, it crashes every time I try to play. Do not waste your money on House Flipper or their expensive garden flipper dlc thats sure to have just as many glitches as this and is clearly just a cash grab.Game devs, I hope you take some time to finish the original game before making another cash grab of a DLC that clearly was meant for the original game until you saw how much potential money you could make. Until then, ill be sure to tell people not to bother buying anything of yours.. Sorry i cant really reccommend this anymoreat the start of the game they promised they will update this game regulary - didnt happen but what leads me to not reccommend this game the fact the last DLC is ♥♥♥♥ing paid and its the same price as the game and has less content this is an indie release not a triple a game that dlc are supposed to be paid. Well... I can't follow the hype for this game. I bought it within a game bundle more as an add-on to the other games. To describe it in short is really easy: boring and repetitive :-(At first it seems fun and you're compelled to finish this room or that mission before going to sleep in RL but after a few hours (5-6) you've seen it all.Cleaning up a home is well exactly in RL boring and no fun at all. Click (or click and hold) on trash or dirt and repeat.Painting is chosing the color marking a part of the wall and pressing the left mouse button until the color has ro be refilled inside the bucket.Tiling and plastering is a slightly bit different but works the same way. Mark a small part... press the left mouse button - finish. As I said... boring and repetitive.Assembling is a bit different. It's more the point and click style. Find the right spot to point (i.e. a screw) click it to fasten and go to the next action area. This ist true for all electric tasks as well as mounting a shower or a washer. After knowing the right spots it's point and click.Mmmhhh... did I mention boring and repetitive?Yes you can design your own rooms (the most fun part for me), but since you can't define your own colors I reached the point that the furniture you can choose from doesn't match the color you intended and so you're compelled to use other furniture the match the color design.Positioning, moving and removing of items is clumsy and frustratiting sometimes. I.e. you removed a cupboard for cleaning up behind it and it won't fit inside the place you removed it from afterwards. After about 10 hours I sold 2 houses (one small and one medium) and did around 10 or 15 missions for quite a profit and I was swimming in money but there was nothing I liked to spend it for. I knew those larger homes just have more rooms to clean and repair but beside this there's nothing more to expect. The perks you can develop over time just let you things more quickly or efficiently and after my 10 hours of play I already earned around 2/3 of all of those perks and I wasn't compelled to earn any of those remaining ones.Don't get me wrong this game is not bad at all, but it's "rinse and repeat". After a few hours you know you won't detect anything new. There's nothing you get from the grinding, nothing you unlock with more experiance i.e. new furniture, new colors, new designs. It's all there from the beginning and only your perks change the game a small bit.In Planet Coaster I always have a new ride I want to unlock or something I want to implement in my park, but here... nothing.Nice fun at the beginning but then it drops down to... well, you know boring and repetitive. With some polishing I'll give it a try again but right now I'll press the uninstall button for "flipping" my PC ;-). I regret buying GARDEN FLIPPER. I would never have bought it in its current state and if they had offered me this for free, I would have said no.It has so many problems. The major ones being that you earn a grass-cutter which is like someone asking you to clean your whole house with a toothbrush. The gardens are huge, great you say until after spending hours mowing the lawn, you exit the game only to find that the grass has grown back. This defeats the whole object of this game which is to design a really nice garden which you cannot do with a continuously unmowed and unweeded garden.I had to sell the house that I spent 22 hrs working on for a loss because there was no point in trying to continue. My office furniture was replaced with different colours.I then get the update only to find that all the maxed out gardening perks I had earned, were gone. I have quite a few of the gardening achievements unlocked, but all the perks are gone.A million pounds was taken from my account. I could go on.Someone knew that this game was not ready which is why it was offered at a discounted price. I would rather have paid a little more for a decent game. Empyrean should be ashamed.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME AS IT IS NOT READY in fact I have posted that I would like a refund and that I would like to make a complaint.. Very fun for a short while but certain actions become very tedious (cleaning windows, building showers etc.) It's a shame there is also a finite amount of jobs and houses. Main reason I can't recommend is the total price is too excessive for what the game is (reaching almost AAA price) I consider the garden DLC to just be the second half of this game locked behind a paywall (I may consider buying it if it goes super cheap on sale)
